What is Index Linking? |

Index Linking is a method of adjusting the sum insured to keep up with price inflation. Index Linking annually increases the level of cover to maintain the purchasing power of the sum insured. Life Insurance companies usually use the Governments' Retail Price Index as a yardstick for the annual increase. Your monthly premium will then also increase in line with the increase in the sum insured.
